This was my first ride with George who claimed he was not very fit (not true). His rather nice hybrid bike ran extremely well on roads and I found myself having to pedal furiously on my mountain bike just to keep up with him coasting downhill.

This fairly flat route goes through mainly quiet county lanes in North Cheshire. The National Trust estate at Dunham Massey offered an opportunity for a tea break whilst the restaurant at Tatton Park provided an excellent range of food for lunch.
